- Your complete name
- Your chapter / school and year of initiation
- The committee(s) on which you’d be interested in serving
- Relevant experience and skills from outside the Fraternity (if applicable)
- Relevant experience in the Fraternity
- The amount of time you feel you can devote to committee work in an average week
You should expect a confirmation from a leadership team representative within a few days. Final selection of volunteers will occur in the weeks following your notification of interest in volunteering.
Fraternity Mission Committee
Working on Objectives 1 and 2
Committee members needed: 3
Areas of experience desired: Thorough understanding of the Object and its history and symbolism; strong written communication skills; presentation development experience in a variety of media; experience in marketing, public relations or corporate education is preferred but not required.

- Develop and encourage members’ use of a brief, plain-language explanation of the Fraternity’s mission.
- Develop a method for explaining the Object’s meaning to potential members and other interested non-Sinfonians.
- Develop educational materials for Sinfonians specific to the Object, its meaning and its relationship to the Great Objects of the Fraternity.
- Incorporate education on the Fraternity’s social classification into probationary membership.
Ritual Regalia and Paraphernalia Committee

Committee members needed: 4
Areas of experience desired: Experience in stage costuming or tailoring; experience with wood-working, engineering or theater stage-craft; experience with marketing.

- Provide ready-to-use production patterns and templates for Ritual regalia and paraphernalia.
Ritual Music Committee
Working on Objective 3
Committee members needed: 3
Areas of experience desired: Experience in writing/arranging music; choral direction or experience in choir is a plus; possibly experience with writing/arranging music for the Ritual.

- Communicate expectations for, and support quality presentation of, music in the Ritual.
- Provide a set of appropriate arrangements of Ritual music and guidelines/standards for local arrangements.
Ritual Preparation and Presentation Committee
Working on Objective 3
Committee members needed: 3
Areas of experience desired: Previous experience in leading Ritual preparation or familiarity with the Fraternity's Ritual; previous experience with professional education, corporate training or curriculum development.

- Provide guidance to chapters on achieving and maintaining proper conduct and mindset before and during the Ritual.
- Establish a standard of universal memorization and excellence in presentation of the Ritual.
Historical Education Committee
Working on Objective 4
Committee members needed: 3
Areas of experience desired: Previous experience as a chapter FEO and/or in marketing or public relations; familiarity with Ritual history and elementary symbolism; previous attendance at a Ritual Education Workshop is a plus.

- Develop standardized educational programs on the Fraternity’s history for use by chapters.
- Create standardized presentations on the basic ideas and symbols of the Fraternity for use by chapters in post-initiation education.
Mills Music Mission Advocacy Committee
Working on Objective 5
Committee members needed: 5
Areas of experience desired: Experience writing and creating press releases which press attention; marketing and public relations experience; ability to coordinate large scale events with participants in multiple locations; strong written and verbal communication skills; background in music therapy may be helpful but not necessary; ability to work professionally with florists and other businesses which may offer effective supplementary items; chorus teachers with pageant, small-ensemble experience.

- Coordinate national public/media relations from the National Headquarters.
- Provide instructional materials for local media relations for use by local chapters and alumni associations, including a variety of stock press releases.
- Investigate partnerships with groups that can provide supplemental materials (e.g. flowers, books, toys) for patients.
- Develop and encourage members’ use of a brief, plain-language explanation of the Mills Music Mission to residents and health-care professionals.
