- Your chapter / school and year of initiation
- The committee(s) on which you’d be interested in serving
- Relevant experience and skills from outside the Fraternity (if applicable)
- Relevant experience in the Fraternity
- The amount of time you feel you can devote to committee work in an average week
You should expect a confirmation from a leadership team representative within a few days. Final selection of volunteers will occur in the weeks following your notification of interest in volunteering.
Recruitment Programs & Strategies Committee
Working on Objective 1: Provide guidance, support and resources to chapters in the development of dynamic recruitment programs and strategies.

- Develop a recruitment referral program to aid chapters in the identification of potential new members exhibiting Sinfonian character.
- Perform service in local school music programs, with the secondary benefit of increased visibility to aid in future recruitment.
- Develop public relations/marketing materials (brochures, posters, online, etc.) for use by chapters and colonies.
- Develop multimedia resources that will assist chapters in their recruitment efforts.
- Develop standardized presentations for province workshops on recruitment strategies and inter-chapter idea-sharing.
- Encourage and guide collegiate members’ grassroots expansion efforts to establish new/reactivating collegiate chapters.
- Provide written guidance to chapters on effective membership selection.
Probationary Membership Education Committees (2)
Working on Objective 2: Provide guidance to chapters for designing high-quality probationary member education programs.

- Provide a bank of high-quality probationary member education activities, indexed by the experiential education objectives they fulfill.
- Require comprehensive documentation of each chapter’s probationary membership programs.
- Develop an annual training retreat for chapter Fraternity Education Officers (FEOs).
- Develop a curriculum handbook (outline of expected lessons week-by-week) for probationary members that follows the nationally suggested program.

- Develop suggested presentations on the ideals of the Fraternity.
- Prepare province and local volunteers to educate and support chapters on probationary membership program development.
Risk Management Committee
Working on Objective 3: Develop educational programs designed to prevent negative or dangerous behaviors common among collegiate men.

- Implement and achieve the initiatives identified in the 2006 National Assembly’s Resolution Concerning Opposition to Hazing.
- Develop educational initiatives for awareness of abuse of alcohol and illegal drugs and guidance for responsible and lawful consumption of alcohol.
- Develop educational initiatives for awareness of sexual misconduct.
- Guide members on the preservation of personal image.

Working on Objective 4: Develop programs designed to impart lessons of leadership and real-life skills to collegiate members.

- Utilize the Ossian Everett Mills Music Mission as an opportunity to teach leadership skills, event planning and program development.

- Develop transition initiatives to ensure that graduating members convey their operational experience and knowledge to rising chapter leaders.
- Provide practical guidance to chapters in selecting qualified candidates for chapter offices.
- Provide an accessible, quick reference primer on chapter operations.
- Institute standards and guidance to prevent theft/fraud of chapter resources.
- Provide resources to instruct and guide chapters’ time management and goal-setting.
- Evaluate and consider overhaul of chapter and officer awards programs.
- Provide an online repository of articles and advice resources for chapters.
- Provide publication templates to chapters (e.g. rush posters, press releases).

- Evaluate current chapter officer structure as outlined in national regulatory documents, comparing it to other similar organizations, and recommending what changes, if any, should be made to the current system.

- Explore the creation of alumni advisor(s) for collegiate chapters.

- Encourage direct communication between province governors and advisors.
Lifelong Commitment Committees (2)
Working on Objective 7: Instill in probationary and collegiate members an understanding of the lifelong commitment and loyalty expected of a Sinfonian.
