New Process Available For Proposing Legislative Change

The National Headquarters is now accepting legislative proposals in advance of the 2009 National Convention, to be held July 15-19, 2009 in Orlando, Florida.

Pursuant to Article XXV, Section One of the National Constitution, all legislative proposals must be published to the chapters and delegates by March 1 preceding the National Convention. In an effort to ensure that the Fraternity is able to provide this timely notice to the chapters and delegates, the National Executive Committee, in conjuction with the Legislative Committee, has adopted a Workflow of Legislation. This Workflow calls for all legislative proposals to be submitted no later than January 15 preceding the National Convention, or January 15, 2009. Proposals can be submitted through an online form, available here and through the Resources page on www.sinfonia.org.
